Whew, so last final was Sunday morning. I'm done, for better or for worse. I get my final grades in a few weeks, which will be the real determining factor on how well my summer starts. Just saw my boyfriend off, and hanging out with friend before I get started with the packing. Going home tomorrow afternoon. I can't wait to see my family, and my dog! My friends will be coming back after me, and I can't wait to hang out with them for a bit before I leave for Ireland and Study Abroad. I'm still trying to process that I get to spend six weeks in Galway, Ireland this summer, working in an environmental engineering lab. Its going to be amazing!
Gotta remember to call both of my bosses and let them know I'm back so I can hopefully get a few hours in before I leave.
This has been a pretty awesome year, got to make some new friends, and spend a lot of time with old friends. Helped build a cantaloupe launching trebuchet at the end of this semester (a little, mostly just got to tag along, but I solved the pin problem! *proud*).
Baked at least three cakes for different people, as well as a pie, and piles and piles of cookies!
I got to go to a lot more shows this year, which was amazing. The music and theater departments here are just amazing, and the student discount tickets are ridiculously cheap. Got to see the boyfriend sing in all of his choral concerts, as well as go to a few other Philharmonic concerts with him. I got to see my freshmen year roommate preform in a great little one-act show, and see a few other shows she worked on which were pretty cool.
I also learned how to play WOW's DoTA, an excellent time-wasting game with friends. I hate WOW, but DoTA is not bad.
Well, I have to go continue packing. Hope everyone else's school year turned out as awesome as mine, despite the horrendous classes I was taking.
